Heated Laboratory Sinks

Size

For textile or paper treatments that require a heated water bath, the MSC Heated Laboratory Sink provides consistent heating in a clean, controlled environment.  Set on a powder coat painted black steel table frame with locking casters, the stainless steel tank features easy draining and consistent heating.

APPLICATION
Heated Laboratory Sinks facilitate heated washing and drying procedures for textiles and papers of all sizes. They offer easy drainage post-treatment and simple, quick cleanup.

The HLS package includes:

  • A steel table frame with steel legs and locking casters, powder coat painted black
  • Fail-safe touchscreen temperature controller
  • 10 feet (3-meter) drainage hose with open/close gate valve
  • Aluminum Wash Screen
  • Rinse hose
  • Polypropylene table cover

FEATURES
Each sink features a 6 inch (15 cm) deep stainless steel tank with an epoxy white painted bottom. The bottom of the tank heats up, and the heat conducts throughout the water bed.  Heated Lab Sinks can reach temperatures of up to 125 degrees F (51 degrees C).

Temperature control is done through the touchscreen controller on the front of the table. Easy to operate.  The temperature controller features an hour meter to track the usage of the table over it’s lifetime. The MSC Heated Laboratory Sink also includes an internal safety feature of a high limit failsafe that turns the heat off automatically if it exceeds a preset temperature threshold. The on/off switch for the controller is illuminated.

State of the art heating technology as well as a precise temperature controller ensure uniform heat over the entire surface area of the table. The controller displays both the desired temperature (set point) and the actual temperature as it rises (process temperature).

Set-up of each unit is easy. Each Heated Laboratory Sink unit ships complete in a single crate, with the table on its side. The crate is opened, the legs attached, and the table tipped out of the crate. It is then ready to use after plugging in and filling with water. Assembly and operating instructions are included with each package.

Between treatments, a solvent resistant polypropylene table cover protects the tank, and can be used as a working surface. Each table has adjustable height casters to conform to any uneven floor. Heat up times are approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on the volume of water being used.
